2009 Blue Six Creative Engagement Photoshoot Promo

Blue Six Creative would like to announce a promotion to help launch our new website & feature the work of our photographers.  We are working on the details of the day we are planning.  Below are the who, what’s, where and when’s…

When: Saturday May 30th & Sunday May 31st, 2009 (Between 10am & 4pm)  Based on the amount of couples the times may be expanded to try and serve everyone.  

What: Blue Six Creative will be offering discounted outdoor photo shoots that are reduced from our normal rate of $200.  We are looking everywhere for great couples, who are really into each other that want to do a fun, romantic photo shoot that will give them great pictures after.  We are looking to push ourselves and offer fun & creative photo shoots.

Where will it be held? We are planning to have this photo shoot in the downtown core of Toronto in the financial district.  This backdrop has many little places to shoot around that will offer a urban feel.  Many little nooks to hide in that will give unique backdrops with different textures.  Also, there is some alleyways close by that offer a “run-down” back alley feel to it that is super close.

How much? We are lowering the price down to an even $100.    This will give you a photo shoot that will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.  After, you will get all the images on a CD/DVD that will be touched up, unmarked and high-resolution that you can print and share.  It will also include an online sideshow like the ones on our blog.

How can I make it cheaper? By referring really cool couples to come shoot with us.  If you refer someone to us and they mention your name & can provide us with your email address.  We will then give them a $25 gift card to Milestones Resturants. Really? Yes!  If you book a shoot with us and you can find three couples to also come out with you and they book in advance, then we will give you $75 in gift cards and your shoot only cost you $25!   (This is our way to say thanks for bringing some people to us to be photographed)

Who are the photographers? We thought we would get everyone out and shoot.  Dan, Brett, Frank, Joey & Mike.  We just want to get out and shoot… now that the weather is nice outside.

How can I help spread the word and collect a $25 gift card for each couple that books?  We are going to set it up on facebook and create an event.  You can then log-into your facebook and pull up the event and forward it to anyone in your friends.    We will also create a facebook group so you can join that and can use that to forward to anyone you know that might be interested and will be in the loop for future shoots.  (Trash The Dress and more engagement type shoots will follow)

What happens if it rains? We will simply book another date in June and before the hot wedding season heats up.

How do we book a session? Simply email us info@bluesixcreative.com and we will email you the photographers and the open time slots available.

Is there a down payment to reserve a spot? Yes, all we need is $50 to hold your spot.  We are planning more days in the summer and fall… so if you book and something happens and you can’t make it, then you can transfer that credit to another day.   On the day of the shoot, the balance is due.   

After every shoot, we are going to display some shots on the blog.  Then in June, we are going to do a follow-up contest and each blog post can be voted on via comments.  The blog post with the most comments will win a overnight stay at a very romantic Bed & Breakfast in Cottage Country North of Toronto that has a value of $200. 

Why are you not charging that much and you are also giving away $25 to anyone to refers someone to us and books a discounted photo shoot? Why not.  We have been talking about this for a while where we all wanted to get together and shoot with the weather starting to warm up.  We think it’s cool for someone to round up 4 more couples that they know and get photo shoots done and in return… they will get $100 back on a gift card for that they can use for a nice night out…. so really it was a free shoot for them

Does everyone that books these shots have to be engaged and is going to be married soon? Nope, just in love.  You can have your photographer already booked with someone else and we are not going to sell you anything.  We are just looking for couples who want to be photographed and don’t really have any cool shots of them already.
