Brett shoots Teri to capture them talking within the winter trees
Brett (Above) - Working at a national newspaper as a Photojournalist, Brett uses Wedding Photography as a creative outlet and a new genre of photography to explore with his camera. He blends classical portrait techniques with a documentary photojournalism style to capture the moments, details and the emotions that make up the story of a wedding day.
Below are shots that he has captured:
Wedding Photography is a creative outlet for me. I work full time as a photographer for a daily newspaper in Toronto, shooting CEO’s, artists, sports and news assignments.
What I connect to the most in photography is capturing emotion and story telling moments. I love photos that make you “feel” something. Photos that bring you back to the moment that it happened.
Shooting weddings gives me the freedom to artistically capture these moments with my photojournalism style, creating images that will make you laugh, cry and feel the love you have for your partner when you said ‘I do.’

Jennifer and Richard were a great couple. I shot them in downtown Ottawa. Here are a couple of shots from the day…
