The day started out shooting the women at Kim and Will’s house.  Everyone looked awesome!

Wow… what an awesome wedding.  Janel contacted us a long time ago while in England and booked us to photograph her wedding.  It was held at Madsen’s in Newmarket and it was such a cool location to use.  Janel + Eric are wonderful people and it was a pleasure to hang out with them all day.  Everyone in the wedding party was so nice and helpful and very much appreciated.

Here is some shots through the day.  The bride and groom both got ready at the same hotel which is awesome and easy to capture both getting ready since they are only a floor away.

We then went over to a park close by to do a “First Meeting” with Janel and Eric since we were then going to take some pictures before the ceremony which was a great idea.  It’s so sweet to see two people see each other on the day of a wedding.

We then took some images of the bridal party and the couple, but we will add those images after the ceremony.

We had the pleasure to photograph the wedding between Katie and Tony at the end of July that took place at the beautiful Wooden Sticks Golf Course in Uxbridge on a beautiful day surrounded by their family and friends along with their Son and Daughter.  Both Katie and Tony got ready at Wooden Sticks in one of the Cottages on the property, which made the day so much easier on everyone and they are highly recommended since they are on site and makes traveling to ceremony a mere… walk .

We think every wedding day should start off with some Golden Wedding Schenley!

Her dress was a beautiful gown designed by Maggie Sottero.

Kandi provided the women with beautiful hair and Katie was stunning.

Kelly Babcock provide the make-up for the ladies and Katie was glowing.  It was great to see Kelly again and she does incredible work.

Here is the rest of the images of Katie and Tony who were so much fun to photograph.  What a fun couple to photograph!  After the ceremony, we jumped over to the Railway Museum to shoot some shots of the couple.

Ceremony and Reception Venue:  The Estates of Sunnybrook | Vaughan Estate | 2075 Bayview Ave Toronto, ON

The Vaughan Estate was a perfect backdrop for the wedding between Kelli O’Hearn + Alex MacDonald that was held this past Saturday on a beautiful day in May.  This estate was built in 1931 and served as the venue for their early evening ceremony and reception at this stunning location.  We started our day at the Vaughan Estate and waited for Kelli and her family to arrive to take some family photographs before the men arrived.  Here is some of the pictures that made up the day…

After the ceremony, we took some family portraits and some shots of the bride and groom on the grounds of the Vaughan Estate at Sunnybrook.

Wow… what a day and a reception.  We would like to wish you both the very best.  Thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your day.  You both are a sweet couple.

The ceremony was held outside at Deer Creek Golf Club in Ajax.  They have a great outdoor wedding venue that is perfect for summer weddings outside.  Amanda Gordon looked after this event and everything was running smoothly the entire day.  Stephanie Smith from Sight and Sound provided the music at the ceremony as well as being the MC and DJ at the reception at Deer Creek later in the evening.

We have to thank the home owner who we asked to shoot on their property after the ceremony.  They have a beautiful old Barn that was the perfect backdrop for some bridal pictures and some pictures of Sarah and Kevin.  Thanks so much for allowing us to use your property.  We are looking forward to coming out again to your home to take some pictures of the Old Barn for you and we also invite you to some complementary outdoor family fall photo shoots.  Those who follow our blog will notice this was the 3rd time we have visited this old barn.

Kevin is a firefighter, so he was able to borrow an old Fire Truck to take some pictures along a tree lined road in north Whitby.

The reception was at Deer Creek, which is a romantic place to hold a reception.  We love photographing weddings there and the food and service are excellent.  This wedding had a buzz to it, and the guests were really into having a good time.  Lots of dancing, laughing and hugging.  It was a great night for Sarah and Kevin.

Thank you so much for allowing to photograph your wedding.  Special thanks to Adrian for covering the entire day and getting some excellent shots.  Best wishes to you both on a long life with each other.  We are looking forward to the “Day After” photo shoot with you both this fall.
