Birds of Wales allowed us to feature their work on our website and we are blessed to have their songs play as you cruise around the site and view the images that we photograph.  You can catch up with them on Facebook here.

On Nov 13th they will be playing in Toronto at the Horseshoe. Please go and check them out.  They are awesome live!  One of the photographers 9 year old daughter went to Ireland this past summer and all she had in her mp3 player was the new Birds Of Wales CD… so she now can sing along in the car when they drive around.

A while back Morgan was busking for change on September 21st for WarChild (below).  He was captured by Toronto Wedding Photographer Jessica Blane Smith.  Morgan and the Birds Of Wales are excellent at lending their time and talent to help great causes.

We promise to post more about the Band and what they are up to.  I know Morgan is busy taking care of his new puppy.

1.) Go to our website ( http://www.bluesixcreative.com/index2.php?v=v1 ) and listen to the first song on the play list that is from the Birds Of Wales.  We also added new images to the slideshow that will automatically play as the Birds of Wales new single “Uninteresting” plays in the background.  After that song if you want to keep listening will be “My Lady in July” and then “Cinderella”.

We want you to listen to it and simply come back to this blog post and simply comment on the song on this post and tell us what you think of it. It’s that simple.  We want to know what you think of it.

2.) We will pick one or two people that comment at random (depending on how many comments) and mail them out an autographed copy of their new CD that is out now in stores like HMV and online through Amazon.

Since the Birds Of Wales just dropped a new CD that is available for purchase online and in stores like HMV or you can order it from Amazon.ca   We just wanted to tell you and post some video clips from them.

Morgan commented about the video above that Mike’s “guitar’s intonation was off and it fell out of tune. Darn you guitar with birds on it!”  It still sounds great to us.

They recently shot a video for this song that will will hit the air on places like Much Music when it’s ready.  We will post it here if we find it online and can embed it.

On October 9th, they will be playing at the Horseshoe Tavern.

The Birds of Wales are proud to announce a extensive Canadian tour – starting
tomorrow in Vancouver.   Birds of Wales will be playing alongside Mishka
across Western Canada. The 9 show run with Mishka will take them from BC to
Manitoba, and finally to Ontario. In addition, Birds of Wales will be
playing Canadian Music Week in Toronto on March 12th, followed by the South
by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas on March 20th.

We look forward to photographing the Band this summer to give them some shots for their upcoming promo’s.

A melding of Folk with Indie Rock, Birds of Wales’ sound has evoked comparisons to Coldplay, Wilco, Ryan Adams & Belle & Sebastian.

You can also find them here on myspace.  We fell in love with their music and we asked Morgan Ross who plays lead vocals and guitar if we could use their music on our website.   He graciously allowed us to feature their music along with our photos on our website. Thank you so much, Morgan!

My Lady in July is playing right now as the first song. You will see a spinning record on our website, where you can flip to the next song and adjust the volume.

The Birds of Wales are presently touring across Canada between Feb 26th – March 12th.  They arrive back in Toronto to play on Thursday March 12th, 2009 at The Black Betty ( 225 Richmond St. )
