Moving along to the Reception. They are all different and all have a different look and feel. They are made up of guests and family. They are filled with joy, celebration, music, toasts, speeches, food, laughter, reflection, outlook, promise, hope, generations, remembrance and pure emotion.

The cake! It’s also fun to try and shoot it in different ways to show the detail in it. We take the standard cake shot, but sometimes it’s the close shots that fill your tummy!
First dances are fun to shoot pictures. We tend to shoot some different kinds of shots and play with flash to give different moods. Some couples spin circles just talking and reflecting and some are super close just holding and feeling each other through their clothes.

Speeches are also fun to capture. We want to shoot the interaction between the speaker and the audience from different angles. You want to show the Bride & Groom soaking in what is said and how they react with a tear or laughter or embarrassment. We have heard the most incredible speeches and stories… we sometimes we wish had it recorded to share.
