Jo-Anne + Joe | In Love | Toronto Islands

This past weekend Jo-Anne + Joe had a little shoot over to the Toronto Islands.  Joe purchased an engagement ring from Samuel Kleinberg and with the purchase came a complementary shoot from Blue six.

It’s great that the weather is warming up.  Summer is hopefully right around the corner.  Here is just a couple of shots from the Shoot.

Congratulations to Amanda + Brodie!

Congratulations goes out to this couple who just got engaged!  We recieved a email from Amanda about setting up a shoot with them when the weather gets a little warmer.  Brodie purchased their engagement ring from Samuel Kleinberg and that entitles them to a free engagement shoot with one of our Blue Six Creative photographers!

We sent her some ideas and inspiration to help them get the “wheels” moving on what we could do with the shoot!

Engagement Photo Shoots In The Winter?

Yes! The winter is romantic. Imagine if the snow falls that would be awesome. Don’t worry… it will!

Shooting in the winter is more about the scarfs, the coats, the funky wool hats and mitts.

It’s also about snow ball fights!

It’s only funny when you see two people in love get out some anger!

Anger leads to making up.

If you find a cool spot that has some open fields as well as some shelter within the trees. It’s really not that cold to shoot. Walk in the snow for a bit and you will be toasty inside.

Also, it does not have to be in the countryside. It could be downtown Toronto. Ice Skating under the lights of Nathan Phillips Square or walking around the city as a couple and then popping into a cafe to enjoy a coffee…

What’s really cool with shooting winter shots is that you can follow up in the spring with another session. Then when your wedding date comes you can have some images of you two as a couple through out the year. Like we did for this couple seen above and below.

Since all Samuel Kleinberg clients who purchase an engagement ring from SK will automatically get a complementary shoot with Toronto’s Blue Six Creative… it could give you a chance to get some shots done in the winter.  Then in 2011, you will have the opportunity to do another shoot to document pictures of you as a newly engaged couple in the summer.
