Ilona and Roman married their best friends yesterday… it might sound cliche, but in their case it’s completely true. Reading their status’ on Facebook the past few weeks I knew that Roman, who owns his own landscaping company and is at his busiest time of the year, was at their new home making the front yard picture perfect for his bride-to-be. I love that he calls her precious and that they constantly write each other love notes on their Facebook walls. Pamella Alexandra did a fabulous job on all the girls’ makeup. The wedding dress Ilona chose was so completely her. After years of being together and after months of planning their perfect wedding day they are finally husband and wife. I loved that even though it didn’t rain we still went to our rain location for some photos – Wegz Stadium Bar in Vaughan. The staff there were fantastic and let us get creative with some photo session fun! I love that both Ilona and Roman kept telling us all day how they couldn’t wait to see their Same Day Edit. We chose the song Faster by Matt Nathanson because the very first time I heard it I could see this couple in my mind – the flirtiness, the fun and most importantly the connection between them. I saw it first hand at our engagement session last fall and I’ll never forget when Ilona said “you make us look so good” and my response was that the love and connection between you two is what makes the photos beautiful. Yesterday I saw it all over again. We don’t have to wish them a lifetime of love and happiness…. it’s a given!
